Frequently asked questions
about consultations and fees

Our 30-minute telephone consultations are free, and many of the firm’s existing clients had all of their initial questions answered during the free consultation.

If you ask us to schedule an extended office consultation or if you want us to develop and explore strategy options before you hire the firm, those services are available.  Fees for an extended consultation, a strategy meeting (telephonically or with an office meeting), and meetings that involve reviewing minor documents typically range between $250-$550.  In those situations, the exact meeting fee is set based upon the work you need us to perform in order to address your legal questions.  You will be provided and agree to the fee before the strategy meeting is scheduled.

An experienced member of our legal team will:

  • review any documents you provide about your case;
  • discuss your case with you;
  • provide you with answers to your questions; and
  • provide you counsel, options, and strategies based upon the information you provide.

Knowledge is power, and we provide you with as much knowledge about your case as we can.  It is our goal to help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of your case, understand the other side’s perspective and motivations, evaluate the risks of your case, and use this information to develop a case strategy and provide you the advice and information you need to make sound decisions.

If during the course of the strategy meeting we can offer practical, self-help options for your situation, we will also discuss those in detail.

Initial telephone consultations are up to 30-minutes in length, and strategy meetings are typically an hour to an hour and a half.  Consultations and strategy meetings are not strictly timed, though, so that we can give each meeting the time and attention it requires.

We give each and every client the time they need to discuss their case and get answers to their questions. We want you to leave our offices confident that we have discussed your case as fully as possible in our initial meetings, confident you have a better understanding of your case, and confident you have wisely invested your time and resources.
